fall 2006 u mean? But yes I applied. 3.0 aye??? SWEEEEETT! Does this 3.0 mean at least B's in everyclass? or can I mix and match with some A's and some C's?

yes sorry, fall 2006. and that's a good question. i think as long as you keep an overall B average, you'll be ok. and finish with at least C's in each class, so the answer to your question is yes to both. oh, and your OVERALL transfer gpa has to be at least a b average, not for just spring.

WingZer0, I wish you the best of luck in your acceptance to UCLA.

The reason why I feel that I will not get accepted to UCLA is because of the course loads that I have held throughout my years at my CCC. I was wondering, which one of you guys are attending a CCC with a quarter system. I have a question to ask you. TIA.

UCLA and UCB(104 days to go)...

calgirl21,

For your GPA posted by Berkeley your CC don't count for anything. However when you apply for grad school, they come back and are figured into your GPA.

ahh we lost 4 pages, and we had some good stuff in there. Cardinalfocused you need to update the countdown :)

Does anyone of you notice that some of the posts are deleted? I remember there are 11 pages for this post but here is only 8...What?

UCLA and UCB(100 days to go)...

Strange indeed about the page loses...

yeah wth. well, we'll remember we had 3 more.

Its because they had to go back a couple of days in order to stop the problem on the database. CC time warp lol. Yea everything we posted in the last couple of days got deleted. o well like calgirl said we'll remember we had an extra 3 pages.

hey allena,
does grad school look at grades that are not UC transferable?

You know I'm not sure! I've had a rather hard time calculating my GPA because of non-transferable grades. My guess is that any class over the 100 level from a CC will count.

Isn't it true that the last two years (especially for transfer students) will be looked at as more reflective of the applicant?

allena, I just wanna remind you that not all schools use the same code for their courses... in my school, all courses with the # = or > 100 are NOT transferable but many other schools may have different code of course.

yeah same here, allena. i have been working on my application to do research, and when it says gpa, i just put 3.9___ and im going to leave a note explaining the underscore. i dont think a .0 something will be that big of a deal.

UCLA and UCB(99 days to go)...

Yay we're under triple digits!!!

Cardinal can u do the SD and SB countdown too?

March 15 we'll say.

55+ some days or so...

99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer on the wall, take one down, pass it around, ninety-eight bottles of beer on the wall......o boy i have problems...;)

For sure highschoolda, I applied to those schools as well and I'm sure many others have too =]
