uc essay length

my long one is only 540 is this ok? the other two are fine.

Why don't you have some people give you input to help you attempt to make the essay a little longer? Maybe elaborate some vague ideas that may be in it?

yeah i pretty much did that so my parents think its rlly good but...u know parents lol i guess i can try but how close do they want it?

I wouldn't be able to answer that, I'm made the final revisions on my statements today and got something like 620, 210, 240 words for each statement. My goal was just to write as much as possible and clarify all the ideas I had so that if I went over, I could just delete the extraneous and repetitive information.

Also, if you really need an answer to your question, I'd say just call UCLA (they have a phone number for application related questions in the application FAQ) and ask them directly.

ok thanks..another question y dont the UC's ask for ur transcript or anything?

They only want to see your transcripts AFTER you are admitted.

<a href="http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/after_apply/after_transcripts.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/after_apply/after_transcripts.html</a></p>

thats weird but hey thanks again

When do they want our SAT scores?

they ask for it on the app but if u mean official then idk
