So im attempting this UC essay prompt
Describe the world you come from — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.</p>

<p>...and I'm thinking of talking about how my dad gave me his first name as my last name and eventually going on to explain how he influenced me but I don't know how to go about it in a creative and unique way. Could someone help me out?</p>

<p>Wow I just drafted my prompt for that one! My best advice would be to not try to think about how to make it creative and interesting but rather to just tell your story openly and reflectively and Berkeley will consider it creative if you get that accomplished. Trust me, you’re not going to write about something in a way that’s completely unique to them. Good luck!</p>
