Note: The University of California will accept applications for fall 2006 admission until 11:59 p.m. PST December 2, 2005.

Arggghhh I shouldn't have stayed up until 2AM Wednesday then..

damn it! that means more competition! ugh!!

yeah, that's stupid. its your own fault if you waited the day of to turn in your application... but then again, tuesday night i was up until 1 tryign to turn mine in... lol

ya, I agree with pacific_fleet

too much more competition
hope theres not that more many applying or that many dont know about it!

i hope all the people applying today and tomorro are weak applicants and procrastinators who will be rejected anyway lol. I really don't need more competition either. my chances are slim as it is!

I estimate that the number of UCB/UCLA/UCSD whimsical applicants will go up by about 6,000 on 12/2/2005 alone...

haha its funny, even though there will be more applicants, there will be a bunch of bad applications.... cause people rushed them and most likely screwed up on something, or didnt write their essay correctly.

I sure hope so.

...competition brings out the worst in all of us... ;-)

of course . . unfortunately.... tooooo many people and too little uc's w/ the prestige that everyone wants

seriously, procastinators shouldn't get special treatment , more competition for us studious and uc hopefuls, well , we'll all just have to wait till march ,

do cal states have early acceptance?

12/02 is their REAL deadline. They say 11/30 to scare the procrastinators and then "extend" it to 12/02 to look nice! Hah!

really? are you suuuure?

Isn't this the first time they've extended deadline?

really? are you suuuure?

Well! At least someone's laughing at my jokes (namely myself)!

Isn't this the first time they've extended deadline?

I don't know. Didn't someone else here say they did it last year? I'll be sad if I'm still here after I get admitted to a UC. Please don't let me still be posting here then.

On 11/30, the UC apps page got 5 million views.

no, we got the same deadline extension 2 years ago.

5 million? That's scary. o.o

If every applicant visits the page 5 times that day, wouldn't that mean that there's 1 million applicants?? Better not be...
