@musicallyweird Your GPA seems fine to me for a TAG. If you fulfilled the GPA requirement, and if your major is impacted and you fulfilled the extra requirements for that major, as well as finished your math and english requirements by the end of this semester, and have at least 30 units completed so far, then you should get the TAG. TAG only goes off of GPA and if you completed all TAG requirements. This is what has always been emphasized to me when i’ve talked to counselors about the TAG program.
what if you don’t apply for TAG at davis but somehwere else? And what if your overall GPA is 3.3 by the end of this fall? How are the chances of getting in without tag?
@boxandwhiskers
Yeah, my GPA meets the requirements and it’s not an impacted major but I’m still scared that something will go wrong…
Ahh it’s November!!! TAG results come out within 2 weeks…
@unknown10108 TBH it really depends on how impacted your major is, along with your essay, ECs…
Does anyone know when UCSB tag decisions come out? I’m hoping the decisions come out something this week.
@BlinkFeed
Check the UCSB threads…
@BlinkFeed A couple of my friends who TAGGED to UCSB heard back this week!
ugh why not us
@littleone23 fgsfdga I know right -_- Have you started your personal statements yeT?
nopeeee still have one from high school that needs revision but sort of suitable lol. wbu?
Does anyone know how we actually receive the notice of our TAG being approved? is it through email or uctap?
btw this was posted on another thread to
It will be posted on your uctap account. Go to http://uctap.universityofcalifornia.edu and when you log in on the right it will show your TAG status. Mine still says under review. The 16th feels so far away but so close!
Oh cool the UC Davis website says that we should check on our TAG status ON OR AFTER November 13th. So it could be the 13th and not the 16th (usually it’s the 14th or 15th but those days fall on a weekend).
I was at the UCD STEM Transfer Day today. The lady there said we’ll get our decisions next Friday. So you’re right b&w.
gaaaaaaah I can’t wait/am terrified
YES thank you guys for that info!
Good to know!! I’ll be a nervous wreck until then lol
Hey! Just wondering, for your cumulative GPA does it mean cumulative GPA including classes that are not IGETC/assist-org certified, or cumulative GPA overall?
@musicallyweird They just want the transferrable Assist certified GPA.
Also, if something doesn’t match up on your transcripts versus what you put in your application, it doesn’t mean they’re going to reject you (like a cumulative GPA versus a transfer GPA, or how many units a class was, or certain dates you attended a school, stuff like that). They’ll just correct it. They only time a school will reject you based on what you put on your application in terms of “wrong info” is if you put that you got all A’s when you really got all F’s or D’s. Serious stuff like that.
TAG to UC Davis.
I just learned how to read and write one year ago. Just kidding
