Hello everyone,

I'm a psychology major at UCSC with a gpa of 3.33. I'm going to become a second year, and I want to transfer to UCD as a nutrition major. I'm going to have all but three prerequisites finished before I transfer. I'm hoping to bump up my GPA to at least a 3.5 in fall 2014. I'm going to miss three prerequisites because I'm changing my major to nutrition, specifically nutritional science.

My personal reason of why I want to transfer to UCD is because I found a new passion in nutrition and I no longer want to study psychology. UCSC doesn't have a nutrition major, which is why I want to transfer. I chose psychology as a major because I enjoyed the topic, but I realized that I don't want to pursue a career in psychology anymore.

My GPA is 3.33 because I got a C in a class related to psychology (Writing in Psychology), so I don't know if that makes a difference if I'm pursuing a nutrition major.

What are my chances of transferring and any helpful tips for an intercampus transfer? Thank you everyone for responding :)
