UC International student acceptance rate

Can somebody please tell me the acceptance rate of international and only international students of UCLA and UC Berkeley? I cant find it anywhere.
I read somewhere that since UC's dont provide financiall aid to Out of Staters, students that are willing to pay full freight have higher acceptance rate.
Is that correct?

You can find the data you are looking for and much more using the [UC Stat Finder](http://statfinder.ucop.edu/). Here are the international admission rates for the fall of 2009 (international in the sense of residence, not citizenship).

Berkeley: 15%
Los Angeles: 19%
San Diego: 28%
Irvine: 31%
Santa Cruz: 40%
Davis 42%
Santa Barbara: 42%
Riverside: 42%
Merced: 54%

If you are a bit more patient, you can also find the international admission rates broken down by SAT score or intended field of study.

As far as I know, international students don’t qualify for financial aid at all; if you cannot prove that you can pay full freight, you would land in the auto-reject pile. (Domestic out-of-state students are in a slightly different position because they are generally eligible for financial aid, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the UCs had a strong preference for full-paying out-of-state applicants after the most recent budget cuts.)

thanks alot
