rejected from SB, Davis, SD, and waitlisted at SC. Irvine is my last hope…
@reducto I feel you. I was rejected from all of the above except SC, but I don’t plan on attending SC. Irvine is definitely my last hope.

Honestly hoping for either admission or rejection. Can’t deal with being on 3 UC waitlists (UCSC, UCSB, and now hopefully not Irvine).
I don’t understand…why is it taking so long…what’s the point of torturing us! I got waitlisted to UCSD, accepted Riverside, and not really expecting to get into UCLA…I NEED IRVINE
I know a lot of people enjoy the mystery, it doesn’t give them stress. However I am a control freak, I love knowing and this is really killing me. All of the schools that I am waiting for have no definitive date, that keeps me up at night waiting, hoping for something to happen only to be met with the smirk of that message “Thank you for applying”. But what can I do. I cant focus on anything else when I know that some of the biggest decision in my life are coming up within the next 15 days. Irvine if you are looking, PRESS THE BUTTON. Release the kraken, please whatever pop culture reference you need for a giggle INSERT IT HERE and just let me move on.
Me too, I only care about Irvine. I mean, I’m also waiting for UCLA, but… screw it. Honestly, I don’t have any hopes, but I keep checking up on my current status anyways. Upon constantly refreshing, I noticed that the color of the webpage slightly changes each time I refresh like a number of times – orrr maybe I’m staring at the webpage for too long that I’m starting to hallucinate.
If UCLA comes out Friday supposedly, UCI should come out before…

Does UCI take major into account for acceptances? I’m mechanical engineering major…I know for impacted schools it does, but I’m not sure if Irvine is.

Does anyone know any freshman applicants that got accepted to UCI that were not honors? My daughter has a 3.96 GPA and composite ACT score of 29. She is a Biology major. Can anyone give me an idea of what they think her changes are?
