@StoneTower I totally get you. I’d just call and wait then. I just did mine because the same thing happened with one of the cal states I applied to and UCSC. There was no option to accept or decline for UCSC and the the cal state had already accepted the financial aid award. I asked them about it and they told me it wasn’t final until I decided to SIR. Something like if I do choose to go there, the aid will be waiting for me. If not, it’s not a problem.
I would honestly just wait for tomorrow and just see, because there’s not much you can do right now. Take a deep breath and keep a backup plan ready for worst case scenario. Chances are you’ll be just fine, but it helps to have a backup plan! Good luck!

@StoneTower people have asked that before and from what other posters said you can accept your financial aid before submitting your SIR.
FWIW, I just had some back and forth emailing from a counselor at UCI. They emailed me at 7am with a question about something on my application. It was just a little fix I missed. I cleared it up and they emailed me back and thanked me for the fix.
So I can either surmise they’re still making decisions at this point, which means it’s not today, or, they’re doing some last minute checks on applications and it’s today…
Weird.
One more update. Someone at the UCI Admissions Facebook (could be a student, who knows) told me just now that notices are next week, not this week.
But again, it’s whoever is running their Facebook, who can be anyone.
