@uuuuuughhhh at what time did you get notify?
@alexwaitingUC I didn’t get notified actually. I just checked on my portal around 2pm today.
I’ve still received no notification and am currently writing my appeal :((
Hopefully tomorrow is the day for the rest of the decisions to be released. Fingers crossed…
@penguinluver Glad to hear you at least got waitlisted and not rejected! =D>
Still waiting for my rejection. :-w
@QueSeraSera04: ahhh dont say that!! I heard tomorrow will be some admissions too! T_T
I got admitted today. I woke up and saw that I received an email at 301am saying that they posted a decision
3.6 history major with IGETC & all major classes taken.
@history2law nice, congrats.
waitlisted lol
3.73 business admin
I can’t believe I am waitlisted
@jazzdancer95 me too im so sad x.x it seems like everyone today got waitlisted
How much people are accepted through wait list? Is this just a nice way of saying your rejected or something?
@DrPoyPoy I think there was a post earlier that said 1,300 waitlist offers were given, 900 opted in, and 300 were accepted from the waitlist.
@dannybui9 those were last years numbers i believe
@boredandconfused Yeah they are.
@chr1st1 I’m pretty sure GPA resets when you transfer. That’s what I was told and did some reading a while back that, to my memory, confirmed that. You may want to do your own research to confirm or deny it.
If I am admitted from the wait list from I am dropping everything and going to UCI. I love the campus, location. And most importantly, I absolutely love their biomedical engineering program vs. all other schools I’ve researched. Really hope I can get admitted and call myself an anteater.
@jasonb511 I feel the same way about biomedical engineering! I haven’t received a decision yet though so I am pretty sure I got rejected. :((
@jasonb511 I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you
@jasonb511 Yeah your GPA is a clean slate because you’re at a new school. However they do calculate your GPA from other schools when applying for grad school and all.
Hopefully tomorrow is the day when they release decisions. Good luck everyone
Thank you @chr1st1 , and you as well.
@liveinthelbc Did you apply anywhere else??? If all else fails, I always have UCM
