I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem, but earlier I was able to view the financial aid award and now I can’t. It now saids that it’s under review, so I’m worried
If I don’t fill out FAFSA, does that mean I would not receive anything including scholarships?

i live in Woodbridge with roommates but what I’ve learned living here, you gotta be really patient. watch trulia, zillow, craigslist all day everyday. my next place is going to be without roommates and I’m definitely applying that same mindset

Yes, UC’s give little to no financial aid for OOS students. Just remember you cannot take out more than $27K/4 years in student loans so the bank of Mom and Dad will have to fund the rest.

** MCS scholarships are not set amounts and may vary by student and institution. The award amount is determined after you are awarded any federal, state, and institutional need-based grants for which you are eligible. The final award amount will be based on the number of students eligible for the MCS statewide and the funding allocated by the State Budget. Pursuant to Education Code section 70023, MCS award amounts may be reduced at any time during the academic year if is determined that the funds appropriated are insufficient to cover the cost of the projected MCS awards.**
