UC Irvine Housing Guarantee Application

I have a problem. I just sent in my SIR to UC Irvine. Next, when I try to apply for housing it says I am “not eligible.” I later found out on the UCI page that you should wait 24 hours after your SIR to start your housing application.

The strict housing application deadline is May 1st, and i am currently writing this at 11 pm April 30. Does the deadline close 11 59 april 30, or after 11 59 may 1st, wherein I would have time to wait 24 hrs???

basically my question is is the May 1st deadline inclusive or exclusive???

My S did the same - sent in the SIR on 4/30, got the same message when he tried for housing, but was able to get in, fill up the form, pay the $20 yesterday (5/1) evening. We are hoping that he gets the guaranteed housing. So, if you haven’t done it yet, do it ASAP - I don’t think the deadline for that is that rigid. Good luck!
