I sent my SIR in on May 1st and it didn't go through for a couple days and after I received confirmation I sent in my housing application on May 4. The freshman guaranteed housing deadline was May 1 and my friend told me she just received an email saying that there were too many students that they didn't know how to house all of them. Does this mean I won't be able to get housing on campus? What are the chances of me being offered housing? I really wanted to dorm with my friend so I don't know what to do now.. :(

There is overflow housing in Arroyo Vista. If all else fails, you might be given an offer in the newly built Camino Del Sol.

You should have been sent an email that tells you that you submitted your application on time and are guaranteed housing.

I met someone you signed up for housing late and got campus village last year.

I got the confirmation email about a week ago and they said tell you if you are guaranteed housing or not. They say that the roommate forms should be going up soon. I guess they stagger it so there won’t be an overwhelming number of people all doing it on the first day. It goes until the end of May, but is it bad if you get the email saying that you can fill out the form later?

@Cacophonous
Have you received you housing application yet.
I really want mines soon
I honesty do not want to triple D:
Also what do you mean by receiving an email saying you can fill out the form later. I did not get anything like that

^

I got an email saying that I was guaranteed housing because I turned in my app on time. I guess it’s like a confirmation email. I really don’t want to triple either. The email said that I’ll receive another email between May 15-31 when I can access the form online. But I didn’t get it yet.
