UC Irvine vs. Cal Poly for business major

Hi!

My daughter got admitted from both UCI and Cal Poly business school (biz major). It is a tough decision to decide which one she should go. Based on the info gathered (also through campus visits), I summarize the info below (more focus on academic, job placement...)

UCI:
Pros: UC branding/system, national ranking (overall ~4), Orange County and surrounding (potentially more job opportunities), fewer biz major (150 enrolled/year starting 2008, potentially more opportunities to get jobs in 4 years w/ less competition), more exposures (research…), UC resources (e.g., study abroad, career center system…), the conselor said she remember all under's first names (only ~100 enrolled in 2008)...

Cons: Focus on Ph.D./MBA and the under biz major is new (starting 2008), not sure if they will have a good internship/job placement program for biz majors, only 3 specialization areas (marketing, magt, accounting)

Cal Poly:
Pros: A longer history in undergraduate biz major program, good job placement (as told), more choice of specialization (e.g., international biz, finance besides the UCI three), learn by doing with a smaller but more beautiful campus, potentially more interactions between students/faculty

Cons: ~550 enrolled/year, not sure how students get a smaller class size, lower national ranking (relatively, it is a regional school), middle of nowhere (not sure the job opportunity, connection w/ corporations)...

I know for under engineering/architecture programs, Cal Poly definitelly is a winner, but what about business school/major?
