<p>Hi. I am a high school junior going on to my 2nd semester and I'll start applying to colleges pretty soon. I was wondering if I'll be able to get in to UCI or any UC for that matters..
I got my transcript of my years so far including 1st semester.
My University GPA is 3.72
Total GPA 3.50
ACA GPA 3.46
I am enrolled in 1 AP class which is US History (currently passing) and 1 Honors class which is English (currently passing)
I am in a program called AVID (3 years now, going on to 4th next)
I have completed 200 hours of community service
My SAT scores are 1350...
Going to completed my UC recommended requirements and never failed a class...
I am taking Japanese
I am going to be the first generation of my family going to college and I'm Cambodian/Chinese if that matters.</p>

<p>I am hoping that this semester will bump my University GPA to a 3.8 or 3.9
I was wondering my chances getting into a UC Irvine or any UC in California.</p>

<p>Your SAT is superlow. You really have to improve it for practically any UC school, sorry.
Even UC Merced requires an SAT about 1500, so while your GPA could probably get you into UC Riverside (not sure about UC Irvine), UC Santa Cruz, UC Merced… pretty much any except for UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, and possibly UC Irvine, your SAT score is severely hampering you. You need to either retake the SAT or take the ACT. Good luck!

<p>Your SAT score? Is it CR and math put together, or all three sections? You need to get more AP classes. Try to take more in your senior year.</p>
