<p>The majors that we select when applying, does that mean thats officially our major, or will they ask again later? Im leaning towards being a biology major, but Im not sure. So what I am really asking is whether they are just wondering what our potential interests are or if they want our major now?</p>
<p>And also for UCSD, how are you guys picking out how to rank your colleges? I have never heard that they have 6 colleges. Are any of them clearly better or does it not matter?</p>
<p>i'm in the same boat you are.. i'm leaning towards english, but i'm not really sure. i'm just gonna put english, cuz i've had a lot of people tell me that the undeclared courses that they make you take are a waste of time.</p>
<p>as for ucsd... each college has a different "philosophy" i guess. i dont know if one is clearly better than the other. if you look in the white "introducing the university" booklet, on the ucsd page (pg 23) thers a concise description of each college and what they stand for. that might help.</p>
