Hey guys

I'm just done with writing the two personal statements.
I wrote 373 words for the first personal statement and 627words for the second one.
Is the first personal statement too short as opposed to the second one?

No, as long as they add up to 1000.

Keeping it all under 1000 is secondary to the statements you are trying to make. It does not matter which has more words, what matters is the meaning behind those words. Just make sure your points reflect the traits you think make you an excellent candidate for UC.

Though it’s worth noting UC recommends your shortest one be no shorter than 250 words, but either way you’re fine as long as you’ve conveyed everything you want to convey.

Not that anyone person is the guide for the masses, but last year my PS was split about 700/300. I don’t think #s matter nearly as much as content. They won’t let u go over 1000 total- the system blocks it.
