<p>So the topic is:
Describe the world you come from — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.</p>

<p>I am an identical twin, my brother looks just like me and we have very similar personalities and interests. For this topic I wanted to write about how people think that me an my brother are the same person on top of always being compared to someone all of my life. I was also going to talk about how my life has always been somewhat of a competition between the two of us in a lot of the activities we do and especially school and grades. Then I want to explain how it has shaped me to want to do something different than many people and the respect I have gained for one's individuality, not basing them off of their sibling or friends, but who they are. Looking and asking what is unique about them.</p>

<p>Is this a good topic or is it talking too much about my brother and me instead of myself?</p>

<p>Being a twin is certainly unique. The topic is rather obvious so you would need to find an interesting way of telling your story. And yes, you must focus your essay on who you are. </p>

<p>I didn’t understand the second part of your paragraph. Think about: What are main points about YOU that you want to share with admissions?</p>
