i've been tryin to find information on this on ucsb's website but found nothing of the sort, does any1 have any info on this

Complete all your ge's at whatever UC you are at and you will not have to take any Ge's at whatever UC yo uget into. (excluding upper division)
Example: I am transfering from UCSD to Cal, so with the agreement i only have to take 2 upper division classes all other GE's are done.

I thought it was only for visiting...thats what a lady at UCLA told me.

GgUCSD i'm in the same situation as u, i have 2 more upper division GEs to take before finishin my GEs (unless that was really just a plain example) but is there a form i have to fill out inorder to confirm the uc reciprocity agreemnet? i knoe my friend from UCSC has a form but i can't find one for ucsb

anyone in the same situation?

I just tried doing this going from UCSC to the School of Engineering at Berkeley. So far no one at Cal has any idea what I'm talking about and it's driving me nuts. It did by chance take care of the majority of my breadth requirements, but the Advisors at UCSC said it would take care of them all.

My advice is check in with the campus you want to transfer to BEFORE trying to take advantage of the UC reciprocity agreement. In the case of UCSC I filled out a "Letter of Reciprocity" request form and had it sent to the appropriate address at Berkeley.

I would appreciate any further info on this issue and what I might be able to do in my situtation.
