@H5Guardian as of right now it’s my top choice but if I miraculously get into UCSB or UCLA I’d go to either of those.
I get accepted, transfer gpa 3.69, I was surprise to the financial aid email, then I checked my status. I just accidentally found that I was in!!!
Congrats cccccccccccccccc. Did you happen to see a date of acceptance?
yes, because I did not realize ucr released decision early, just got the email this morning.
So did you get accepted on the 1st and got a late email? Or did you get accepted after the 1st? Reason I ask is because a lot of people here are wondering how these people are handling decisions.
I am not sure the date, I got the email about financial aid award, then I checked my status
Alright well thanks for letting us know. Congrats again
It seems like admissions has slowed down for UCR. There hasn’t really been a flood of “ACCEPTED!” posts this week. Seems like that March 15th date that’s on their Twitter is the day the rest of us are waiting for.
Paige what’s your first and second pick? School I mean
@futureeechick Thank you. Although I’m bio major, I’m interested in Engineering. May I pm you?
@ananguiano Thank you as well. Long story short, my GPA was way below for TAG requirement last year so I was not able to apply for TAG. It’s classes that I’m taking now (Spring 2016) that worries me if I’m honest. It’s major requirement courses so I don’t have any option but to take classes. Even if I get accepted, I am not quite sure if I can keep up with my own GPA. Anyway, are you Bio major as well?
Thanks Daniel. I appreciate your need to tell on me. I can’t even go on the UCSB transfer thread anymore because you.
@edjy90 Ahh, yeah I submitted a TAG at UCR for engineering but then changed my major so now I suppose that TAG is voided anyway. I’m a Math major, 3.22 GPA as of last fall, and I hear you with these Spring classes, I’m taking 23 units I’m taking 3 math classes and a CS class as pre-reqs and Spanish for heritage speakers to complete my IGETC foreign language requirement just to be able to check off the certification. You can do it though, the fact that your GPA went up last Fall is a good trend!
@ananguiano thanks! Trying my best in terms of classes and trying not too much give attention toward admission as it gets distracting often. Whatever happens, it will happen, you know? Respect to you taking 23 units. When I started at cc, I often took 18 units time to time but it was GE classes, not major prep. Anyway, good luck to you and let’s see how it goes!
Ok everyone. I’m back.
did anyone get in after march 1st?
@nisreenalsabie I got in on 3/3
@booberry25 who are you?
are you sure it was the 3rd? did you check your ucr account on march 1st? because a lot of people said they got in on the 2nd or the 3rd but they actually got in on the 1st but didn’t check until they received an email
I’m getting so nervous here, did anyone else notice they deleted the tweet that said transfer admissions notifications will be out on March 15? Maybe they’re just really backed up but I wish they could tell us something…
@nisreenalsabie it was definitely on the 3rd. I actually never got an email. I think I was checking every 10 minutes. I found out first by looking at GROWL I was able to see my SIR after midnight and the welcome screen changed sometime around noon.
