So no one else has gotten their admissions packet? Cause I was starting to get worried I just want to see what’s in it. :-S
Also I’m a little confused with the whole financial aid thing. So my net cost ends up being about $10,000 so do you guys know if that’s what I really have to pay or just a guess?

@boxandwhiskers lol ikr, but considering its more or less near the desert, i’m assuming nights may tend to be colder too (if you consider the 40’s - 50’s to be cold)
Hey, just wondering. I just got an e-mail invitation to Highlander Day, which says:
“Highlander Day, help on April 9th, is our largest open house for recently admitted students for the upcoming Fall term. Programming includes next steps to enrollment, resources available, how to get involved on campus, financial aid, campus tours, and housing tours. The day is based around welcoming you into the Highlander family and showing what life at UC Riverside is all about. Students that are interested in attending UC Riverside for upcoming terms are welcome to attend as well! There will be special information sessions just for future Highlanders.”
Should I take this as a positive sign or a neutral sign? I got really excited when I read the first part, but then the last two lines killed my vibe. Has anyone else gotten this e-mail? I still haven’t been admitted and can’t SIR, so… I don’t know.
@041191 i’d say its pretty neutral, i got an email similar to that long before admission statuses were rolling out

@041191 I say take it as a positive sign, maybe they want you to reserve that day in advance?(but don’t take my word for it, I’m not an admissions officer). I never recieved that email and can’t SIR either, last thing I got from them was a “Visit our campus!” email in January
@luxodom Haha. That’s what I was thinking until my sister checked her mail and had the same email from UCR and she didn’t even apply there. I think they sent it to everyone who signed up to receive information from their campus in the past.
