<p>If you are ELC [Eligibility</a> in the Local Context (ELC)](<a href=“http://www.ucop.edu/sas/elc/]Eligibility”>http://www.ucop.edu/sas/elc/) you are likely to be admitted in at least one of the UC campus, may not be the ones you apply necessarily.</p>
<p>Not just ELC. In previous years, if you are UC eligible, and you didn’t get into any of the schools you applied to, you could be offered admission at a UC that you didn’t apply to–in the past that’s been Riverside or Merced. However, with the budget cuts, there’s no guarantee that this policy will continue. If you really want to go to a UC, apply to a range of campuses.</p>
