Housing change of wording means nothing. Don’t waste time or get hung up on it.
I did read on a UCSB page from a UCSB advisor from a few years ago that the earlier you complete TAU, the quicker your response may be, as they start the process. She was referring to TAG, but it would seem to me that it would cross over due to the sheer volume of applicants. However, that does not take into account any hang ups that might ensue during that time.
I do know it’s really based more on completion of analysis or simple random release and not based on high GPA.
It wasn’t by an official or anything. Apparently the idea was that UCSD gave results every three weeks so apparently that was the 31st. I don’t really know.

March 31 would still be in the third week range…ish. I was just really wishing it was true in the end.
@damnImwaiting
Aahh sorry about that! I wanted to know as well. I didn’t mean to state it out like a fact.
@MizuRue
I’ve mentioned it a few times throughout this thread but to those who don’t have the time to dig through:
I spoke with a UCSD admissions officer the day before the first batch rolled out and he let me know the exact date for the first batch but did mention that the next two batches would be roughly 3 weeks apart (which would mean this Friday could be the next batch), but he had no definitive date on the next batches (only rough estimates of late March/early April for the second and late April for the third).
I realized that I didn’t put on my TAU that I will be taking the last prereq I have to take this quarter. I’m assuming that these prereqs are extremely important to fulfill before I transfer so who should I contact about this? Thank you!
