No need to worry ladies and gents. Last year, I was a part of the last batch and I got into every single I applied to(Inlcuding UCSD, UCI and My school of choice UCLA). Best thing to do, is just not check every hour. Just keep yourself busy and take your mind off it. If the next batch is April 17/18 which it was last year, then there is not much you can do. You’ve waited this long, a couple more weeks is not bad.

@Evonnnnn Your regent’s scholarship was already included into your financial aid? I received regent’s from UCI but I guess not from UCSD and I’m trying to weigh the benefits.

GPA: 4.0 in M.E. (caveat: he did the transfer work for a humanities degree many years ago, but did not pursue it; his GPA from that is a 3.6, and if you average all of his grades, he has a 3.8).
School: California-based community college
IGETC: N/A
In Progress: He has one math and one engineering class required by UCSD in progress
Extra Curriculars: Math, Physics and Chemistry tutor, Chemistry Club
Volunteering: Rebuilt homes after Katrina, helped migrants for 3 years
He’s a 30 year old first time college student. His family and I are rooting for him!

At what point does “early-April” end? Is it the 14th? The 7th?
Would you consider April 1-7 “early-April,” April 8-23 “mid-April,” and April 24-30 “late-April”?
probably the Fridays so 10th, 17th, and 24th
30 days in April, so I’d go first ten days being early April, second ten days being Mid, etc.
So where does late fit in, @lbwaterpoloman?

Can someone chance me? Also, my transfer advisor said UCSD does transfer admission by GPA cut-offs and not by majors, is that true? Like for example, anyone above a 3.5 GPA will be accepted despite their major?
Major: Pre-Psychology
GPA: 3.578 (when i applied, 3.63 after winter but not sure if they’ll see it because i didn’t receive my grades/update my TAU until first week of feb.)
School: California-based community college
IGETC: Completed
Major prep: Done with all psych reqs but still need the extra science reqs like bio.
