@luckie1367 The first batch of acceptance came out on the 15th, which was… Saturday…? Huh.
Is this common? Does anyone have a guess when it’ll come up?

Just wanted to let you guys know. I applied last year as a freshman applicant and had to go through this very long wait too. And now here I am again as a transfer applicant waiting again :(.
But from what I can recall last year, the same thing happened to us, the myapplication portal was down up until around 12 or so, and then TONS AND TONS of people tried logging in, which caused the website to crash. Some people managed to get through and see their decisions. But after a while the system just closed down completely, and when it reopened for a brief moment, many people who saw their decisions before when they logged in, no longer saw it and went back to the original “we are viewing your application” message. However, if this happens again this year, just know that the decision you saw is true and correct. But just letting you know, I didn’t see my decision until like 2 PM, after myapplication reopened again, and after the system stopped being super congested by all the people trying to log in.
Anyways, I really hope today is the day some of us hear back from UCSD, I’m just as anxious this year, and I wish everyone the best of luck
