I got accepted to UC San Diego and I know they could take away my admission for having below a 3.0 or a D or F. I always had above a 4.0 every year. The first semester of senior year, I got 4 As, 1 B, and 1 D with a 4.0 GPA. The D was in IB Calculus. I improved my grades and GPA to 5 As and 1 C with a 4.5 GPA. I think I have a good chance to be accepted for the fall but i don’t want to be too sure without knowing yet. I also got accepted for summer bridge but it doesn’t mean I’m accepted for the fall. I dont think my admission should be taken away because I never went below a 4.0 and IB Calculus is basically considered a college course.
Did you report the D in your 1st semester as required? If you did not, then yes you could be rescinded. I have seen 2 CC posters that both received D’s Senior year that were rescinded this year for Fall 2017. One from UCI and one from Cal State Fullerton. It does not matter that you met the 3.0 weighted GPA for Senior year, a D or an F either semester is grounds for being rescinded. If you have not contacted UCSD, I would do it as soon as possible.
Freshmen: If you change schools, add or drop a course, or fail to earn a C or better in a course after you submit your application, you must notify the UC Application Center by email or postal mail. Your correspondence must include your name, UC Application ID number and your signature (if you mail a letter), and will be available to all the campuses to which you applied.
If you receive an offer of admission, be sure to confirm with the campus admission office that they are aware of the deficient grade or schedule changes. Although you must notify the campus of these changes, we cannot guarantee that a campus can go back to review an application after correspondence has been received. Make sure to save a copy of your correspondence just in case.

I already reported it and also went in person to an admission officer and they told me to wait until August to know if I’m accepted or not. I think they’ll tell me before summer bridge starts.
I just want to have some validation and know my chances because I’ve been worried since I accepted the admission in April.
Unfortunately you are at the mercy of admissions. Best of luck and have a plan B just in case.
