Do these trickles mean there won’t be any waves or are they trickles before a wave after review of SIRs? Probably anyone’s guess?

DD got off the waitlist yesterday (5/3) at about noon.

I guess there was no action today… Anyone have any insight/history? Maybe next week for another wave? It seems like other UC schools have not had much action.
Since the waitlist admits have until May 9 to accept or decline, applicants should not expect to hear until after that date if there are more spots open.
For those whose kids got off the waitlist, did they get an email or do we have to keep checking the portal?
