UC SAT Score & EC: Help Please!

Please please help!!!! UC application has to go out today. Two very urgent question. Hope someone is reading this.

SAT-1 was taken twice. Both were requested to be reported to the college board. But are you supposed to write both SAT scores in the application also?

Lots of EC: The most important ones that child wants to report were done in 12th. And more than half of that in summer (we are presuming summer is counted in 12th.). So, total is 442 hours in the column of 12th.

Service: 50 hours
Varsity sports: 72 hours
Academic EC: 280 hours

Mathematical error: 40 hours (specifying sports: higher hours in 9, 10, 11 sports makes 12th look artificially high).

TOTAL = 442 hours (at least visually this is how it will look)

All ECs totally verifiable, if needed.

How do we write this so that it is not misunderstood and discredited because so much of it is in 12th grade summer when child spent close to 200 hours. Or, is this NOT a problem and we should just let it be without bothering to explain?

We have lot of information about EC in Additional Information section so we do not want to clutter that page if it can be avoided.

Minor Question: Also, even if we explain all of this in the additional information, it looks very disturbing that so much of this is in 12th. And they read the EC section before they go to the additional information section. Does it look troublesome to you too?

Totally confused and worried. Today is a holiday so counselor is not available to talk to and the application is due by Sunday. Please help!

Please ignore question 1. It seems that you can only put one score in their SAT score field. Very sorry for taking every one’s time on this :-(

But, the questions about the EC in the 12th grade being so heavy, with so many hours, is still something that may need detailed explanation. Hence, just wondering if anyone else has faced a similar situation where the EC hours for a particular year become very large and needs to be explained or web based links given for a proof? What is the norm? Again, very sorry for taking attention span of readers on the day of holiday. Even if for 1 minute. Happy thanksgiving everyone! :-)
