Hello to all college experts!

I'm not sure which of my 3 SAT scores to submit to the University of California system. My counselor told me that it's best to submit the one with the highest math + critical reading score combination, regardless of my writing score. I have taken the SAT 3 times and my math + critical reading scores for the third one are highest, but math + CR + writing scores are highest in my first try. The difference is only 10 points, but I'm not sure which to submit for UCs. I will submit the most recent one with the highest CR + math score to the privates I'm applying to. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Well here is what I found under the UC website that should help, “In the College Board’s Score Choice module, ensure that all scores are sent to UC. We require all scores and will use the highest scores from a single administration.”

Good Luck with your applications!

Oh I guess I’m confused overall with sending scores! Looks like I have to send all three times I took it. Thanks! By any chance do you know how privates do it? USC for example, says “For students who take the SAT more than once, USC records the highest scores for each section – Critical Reading, Mathematics, and Writing – even if achieved at different sittings.” Does that mean I have to send them all again?

For all of the private schools I’m applying they want all the scores. For USC I would send in all my scores too.

Cool thanks, good luck to you too!
