Well, I am an IB student with a 4.14 UC GPA (4.41 weighted and non-UC).

I've taken the SAT only once with a 1760. I'm hoping to get around 1850 for my second time this May.

Schools:
Johns Hopkins
UCLA
UC San Diego
UC Irvine
UC Berkely
UC Riverside (safety)

What chance do I have at these? Thanks!

Johns Hopkins: reach
UCLA: slight reach - reach
UC San Diego: match
UC Irvine: safe match
UC Berkely: slight reach - reach

The SAT score needs to be over 2000. 11th grade GPA is a little weak.

UCLA: reach
UC San Diego: match
UC Irvine: match
UC Berkely: reach

Definitely bring the SAT score up if you want a good shot at UCLA or Cal.

Right now, my first choice is John Hopkins. So should I aim for around 2000 for my SATs? Honestly, I don't know how my score is so low. I'm not stupid and I even took the Princeton Review classes. My highest Diag was 1840, but for some reason I can't seem to get higher. My weakness is Critical Reading so I'll defintely have to improve there.

1760 isn't a bad score by any means. With your GPA and a 1760 I'm sure you'd get into UC Irvine, Davis, and Santa Barbara. But to give yourself a real good shot at the Top 3 UC's you'll need to bring it up to at least a 1900 IMO.
