So lets say I got 690/620/620 i my first sitting.. and ten
700/700/650 in my second, I can pick my highest of the bunch and combine for the highest score possible? FOR UC's

I don't know. But i can tell you that your second sitting already has all of your highest scores :)

also, what you are refering to is called "superscoring".

Thanks.. but the second sitting was hypothetical.. while my first was realistic. my second sitting score comes out on the 20th... *crosses fingers!!!!!!

Your example given in the original post does not involve "superscoring" as all of the scores on your hypothetical second sitting exceeded all of your individual section scores on your first sitting for tha SAT I. An example of superscoring involves receiving your higher or highest score on one section in different tests. Example: 690 CR, 620 M, 620 W in first sitting, and 650 CR, 660 M, 630 W in the second sitting equals a superscore of 690 + 660 + 630=1980 superscore which excedes your single sitting scores of 1930 and 1940.

As said, taking the best single-sitting scores is called superscoring. However, UCs do not superscore; they will take the single highest sitting. Privates usually superscore, while publics usually do not.
