UC Tag Fall 2015 transfer decisions

@davishopeful I submitted my TAG application to UC Davis as well! This might answer your question: <a href=“Transfer Admission Guarantee”>http://tag.ucdavis.edu/counselors/criteria_print.cfm</a></p>

@ItsSoSunny I have a similar problem. I have a class planned for Spring, but I wanted to take it when I transfer instead. I asked a TAG representative and I was told that it is highly recommended that I take that course since it would be included in the contract. But that course is related to my major, so I would assume that if it was not related to your major it would be okay. However, I am not positive. (Number 4: <a href=“Transfer Admission Guarantee”>http://tag.ucdavis.edu/counselors/criteria_print.cfm</a>)

I received a response from Santa Barbara, good luck to you all :)

UCSB responded to my TAG app as well!! Best of luck to all

Wait, I got an email from UCSB as well, but they didn’t say I was accepted or anything

Thank you for your interest in UC Santa Barbara. You have successfully submitted your online TAG
application to UCSB for fall 2015 transfer admission. We now look forward to receiving your
University of California transfer application during the November 1 - 30 application period. Apply at
<a href=“Apply now | UC Admissions”>www.universityofcalifornia.edu/apply. When applying for admission, please indicate your TAG
submission on the UC transfer application and remember that your transfer admission guarantee is
only applicable for the major you indicated on your TAG application.

UC Santa Barbara does not provide an admission evaluation or early admit decision as part of its
TAG program. When you apply to UCSB for admission, we will review your TAG and notify you of your
TAG and admission status beginning mid-March through the end of April. It is important to remember
that in order to maintain your TAG eligibility, you must meet the following conditions:

• Complete the required courses in English and mathematics with grades of C or better by the end of
fall 2014 for fall 2015 admission.

• Earn an overall minimum 3.20 GPA in all UC-transferable courses by the end of fall 2014 and
maintain a minimum overall 3.20 GPA through the end of spring 2015, and meet major prep course
and GPA requirements for majors in the biological sciences and economics.

• Complete all other TAG requirements as outlined in the UCSB Fall 2015 TAG by the established deadlines.

If for any reason you are unable to meet the conditions of the TAG, an offer of admission will
depend on your completion of transfer admission requirements and selectivity in the applicant pool.
Students who do not meet all TAG criteria may still be competitive for admission to UCSB.
Thank you for submitting your TAG application. UC Santa Barbara has much to offer

I applied for a TAG to UC Davis. My major is biology and my GPA is 3.70. I talked to the UCD representative during the college fair and she said my TAG looked great. She even changed some classes around for me even after I submitted the TAG application. Im pretty sure mine will get approved but im anxious to know the offical decision. Cant wait to go to Davis!

I tagged for Davis last year got my denial on Nov 15. Praying I get it this year. I was sooooo unprepared last year I knew it was going to be denied lol.

I sent in a TAG app for UCR with a 3.02 for Psychology. I recently received an email from a UCR counselor stating:

“Please note that UCR will review your TAG application when we review your admissions application. When you submit your admissions application, be sure to check that you have a TAG with UCR on the “Agreements with Other Campuses” section. This will flag your admissions application and we will review your application first and provide you with an early admissions decision in the month of March.”

Also, are we able to change anything on that application? My classes for the spring have changed and I’m not sure how that will affect my TAG. I also checked off that I would have an AA-T at the end of Spring, but due to crappy circumstances will not be able to finish all those classes since I am going to finish other ones instead. Does anyone know if that is going to affect my TAG agreement?

I seriously don’t know how I’m gonna wait till nov14 to hear from Davis.

I tagged as Human Development major with a 3.41 GPA

I reallly hope I get in =/

Just chill out guys, im sure everyone that applied to davis will probably get in. They have a 45% acceptance rate, so almost one out of every two applicants get in. Dont get your bikes stolen lol. Is everyone waiting for their TAG decision before submitting their regular uc application?

Just got the Irvine notification, same as ucsb. Now just gotta file my app.

lol @ChemGod‌ I hope you’re right

If you’ve met the requirements, you’re in. I don’t think it is subjective…

Just got Irvine too! same as UCSB, what does it mean?? is that mean I am in?

Just got the Irvine notification too  November 5 for UCI was pretty accurate thanks @shuttlepilotND !!

Np  and no it doesnt mean that you are in, it only means that they have received your TAG

Yeah got my UCI response too. Pretty muc keep at it.

For those still waiting on the notification (which is NOT an acceptance letter), I called UCI Admission and asked if only people who have met the requirements/qualified for TAG receive this notification and she said yes. So if you don’t receive it, check the list of requirements again and check assist.org to see if you have really completed everything they have asked for.

For example, for the UCI TAG requirement you needed to be done with your math requirements by Summer 2014. I was scared because I am barely taking Calculus this Fall and Calculus was one of the classes listed on assist that needed to be completed before transfer… But when I called UCI they said that I’m in the clear since I have taken pre-calculus and college algebra prior to that. It’s these little details that you have to be careful of. :)

This is an ESTIMATE of when each UC sends out their notifications:
November 1 – UCSB

November 5 – UCI

November 7 – UCSD

November 8 – UCR

November 14 – UCSC

November 15 – UCD & UCM

November 7 – UCSD??
I thought there is no TAG for UCSD this year

I stand corrected… Sorry guys UCSD isn’t part of the TAG anymore :)

I was told by the UCD undergraduate adviser that I would receive an offical decision on nov 14. So im assuming they send out the decisions that day, maybe they send out acceptances on the 14 and denials on the 15, but im not sure so dont freak out if you dont get the email on the 14th. Sucks how UCD is last to send them out but it kind of makes sense since they actually tell you if you are accepted. Its kind of funny cause at around the 14th and 15th probably only people that tagged to UCD will be on this forum, checking to see if anyone else got an email lol. I know I will be.
