UC TAG Help!!

Hey everyone,
So i started my first year on college at SF state, and decided i really did not like it, so I am at the junior college right now, and I am looking to see if I can sign a TAG with uc davis so i can be attending in fall 2011.
I had a really bad semester this past spring (family stuff) and I got a C- in my Bio class that was 5 units.
I know you need 30 uc transferrable units completed in order to sign the TAG, but I am not too sure if that C- will count. If it does count I will be at 33 units, if it doesnt I will be at 28.

Also there is a class I can take, that is a short semester class that ends on Sept 29th I think and is UC transferable. Would that be allowed? Would I be able to put that in and then send it Sept 30th?

I dont have a strong enough GPA to get into Davis through normal application because of my bad semester, and it was always my dream school.

Any help? Anyone actually go through the TAG process as well?

Anything that is a “C” and above counts…Most community colleges do not do +/- on your final transcript. You should be fine ( :

As long as your college defines a “C-” as definitely being a “passing” grade you will have no problem whatsoever with it counting towards TAG.

All the best.
