UC to CC to UC transfer using "TAG" ?

This is surprisingly my first time on this site, but I had to drop by because a friend recommended it to me.

So this is my current situation:
I was enrolled at UCR and dropped out after acquiring 60 quarter units (only just learned the difference between quarter and semester units).
I am planning to attend CC and hopefully transfer to a different UC (no preference).
While browsing around the forum for tips, I happened upon information on "TAG."
However, that's where my problem starts.
I read somewhere on the forum that students that earn 60 or more units from a UC are ineligible for TAG. Is this true?

Are there any other restrictions for TAG?

I believe it is 60 or more semester units. I’m actually in your exact position, UCR as well. I’m assuming you’re a second year too?

Yeah haha. Thanks for the reply guess I’ll be using the TAG program then.

The rules depend on the UC campus, and what college within that campus you are applying to. See page 14 of http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/counselors/files/ETS10_TransferQA_final.pdf</a> for the unit caps.

Thanks for the pdf mikemac. the information is all very extensive and helpful.
