I am applying to transfer to a UC this fall for fall 2018 from a California community college. Right now my GPA is a 3.4 (trying to raise to a 3.6 before applying), I am an honor student and I’ve taken a few honors courses. I want to get my AS degree in biology as an Honors Scholar (at least 15 honors course units). I volunteer with a nonprofit organization (>100 hours) that sets up events that consist of organizing food pantries, cooking and serving meals at homeless shelters, farming vegetables for low income families, etc. I run a small online business where I design and create handmade custom event attire for my clients. I want to apply as a human biology major to UCSD. I will be applying to other UCs as well, but UCSD is what I’m aiming for.
Here is a link for UC Transfer GPA by UC campus and major to give you an idea if you are competitive. Fall of 2017 should have updated numbers, but this will give you an idea if you are in the ball park.

Good Luck.
