transfer student - what are my chances for fall 2019

Hi! I’m a community college student in SoCal area. I’'ve applied to some UCs and CSUs and I’d like to know what my chances are of getting accepted into one of these great schools.

In high school I completed the full IB diploma (2017) and took 2 AP tests with college credit. I also did volunteering and ran cross country+track.

At my community college, I was placed onto the Dean’s List twice, was placed onto honor roll, joined the PTK program at my school as well as the MESA program, and another volunteer-based program. I also involved myself with 2 clubs (vp and secretary, respectively). My GPA is 3.5 right now (post fall grades) and I also have some internship experience under my belt. By Spring 2019 I will be completely done with ASSIST classes with the exception of one class.

I applied as a cell biology/biology/microbiology/chemistry major. What are my chances of being accepted into UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, UCI, CSUSB, and CSULB?

Thank you in advance.

What you did academically in HS along with your EC’s do not figure into the UC’s and CSU’s transfer admission chances.

Completing all the GE/major requirements, maintaining a competitive GPA and having some work/EC experience post HS graduation are what you need to get into these schools and sometimes a bit of luck. Below are some links to help you gauge your chances.

For the UC’s, this link shows the UC transfer GPA admit rate by campus and major:

This link is for CSU transfers which shows the average GPA and Impaction information by campus but not major specific:
