me too....

I find it interesting that the admissions office is only open monday through friday too.

where is ucsd?

it doesn't matter anymore because i already sent in my sir for ucla. but still, i'd like to know.

I was offered admissions to Berkeley for poli sci, but for the spring 2006 for some weird reason... Im still pending on UCLA, and Im in at UCSD. What should I do?

for poli sci...i think UCSD is damn good...thatz wut i heard.

Well it is now April 30th and to be honest I'm not at all surprised that there is still no word from UCSD...

Does anyone have any information on whether or not Cal has a transfer day/open house thing? thanks.

^it says on the acceptence website somewhere, there are days for transfer students to join..open house, not overnight like freshmans. I believe the first day is sometime in july?

Sanven4, I hear ya about UCSD. I got into Cal so I don't really care, but it makes UCSD look bad when they put up a date and don't meet it. I think the way Cal handles their admissions makes them look that much better than all the other UC's.

cal has a welcome week.

Just wondering, but has anybody had any luck making their BOL account for UCLA?

Gattaca, I agree.

And when they have far fewer applications to process than a school like Berkeley and 6 weeks to do it, and they still can't make the deadline with so many people pending? It looks unprofessional. And it's rude -- they owe us answers. It really seems like the don't have any consideration for their applicants.

they haven't even bothered to update their site with information on when we CAN expect to hear something!

If UCSD does that, it is a loss for them...so many of the applicants have already submitted their SIRs...I see only a few people incl me who are even considering UCSD as an option...

Just got back from UCLA and boy am I tired. lol Not used to a hike, just to get from the parking lot to Ackerman. Anywho, got home and got a white envelope from UCLA. Is anyone else going to the Transfer Scholar's shindig on May 21st? It's an all-day event with the Chancellor.....sounds like a lot of fun and very informative day planned.

Have not recieved my packet in the mail yet, however I'll likely attend.

Indie_boy, I hear ya. For me it will all come down to whatever happens with UCSD and UCLA. They are the only ones I really have an interest in attending, so (of course) they've ended up being the ones I have to wait on!

It actually wasn't the official acceptance packet, but just a small envelope from the Academic Achievement Program, which contendds to be a "multi-racial" program for the scholarship and retention of transfer students.....

I've been looking up the program in the catalog.......some very nice perks and resources at one's disposal.

Sounds kinda.....fishy to me. ;-)

mrpinaple...that's fabulous! Then who cares about UCLA, right? congrats! And thank you soulrebel for your stats...no wonder you got into UCLA. If anyone else who got into UCLA would give out their stats (including extracurriculars, volunteer work, etc) who hasn't yet, I would appreciate it very much! :0)
