(Applying as a math major). So I noticed a few days after I submitted my application for transfer that somehow a community college in which I earned 28 units from with a 4.0 gpa and had a lot of my major prep courses done was somehow not on my application when I submitted! I triple checked my application. I do not know how that was not on there and it has caused me to be very sad and frustrated and worried. I was supposed to have 67.5 units with a 3.85 gpa completed by fall, which I do. However with those 28 units not included in my application it’s 39.5 units completed with a 3.75 gpa. Obviously this tremendously affects me in a bad way. I’ve contacted the admissions offices and all of them said just add it in the notes of the TAU before Jan 31st and ill be fine as they’ll request additional info/ transcripts to be submitted through a portal for verification. However contacting Berkeley, they said that they can’t do anything about it and to file an appeal if I get denied. So am I basically screwed?
You will still need to submit your TAU for UCB along with the other UC’s so hopefully your explanation and update will be considered.
If denied, you will have a good reason for an appeal but hopefully it will not come to that.
Best of luck.
