UC transfer back down to a CC?

Hey everybody, so I was wondering if I could transfer back to a CC in winter quarter after the fall quarter because I was accepted into UCR and enrolled into the fall quarter already, but I have just recently found out that my family does not have enough finances to let me continue going on at this school after one quarter. If I could transfer, how would I go about doing this? Thank you for helping!

I do not think you need to transfer, with community colleges there are no admission criteria so all anyone would have to do is just show up there and register and register for whatever courses might be open.

I do not understand the point of doing this though. You would just be spending more money on CCC tuition, which I admit is not very much, but you can not earn a BA or BS at a CCC and I believe the tuition is about the same at all of the UC campuses. CSU tuition is about half as much as UC tuition and they are four year universities that can award you a Bachelors or Masters degree and might be a good alternative for you if your family has enough money for CSU tuition of about $6,000 a year. CSUs have slightly different admission requirements than UCs for transfer students so you would want to be sure you have the required courses. I think with budget cuts all of the CSUs are only admitting students for the fall of 2012 at this time.
