<p>It indicates that the maximum credit for ESL to transfer to UC is 8 units. Do they just count only the units towards the minimum requirement 60 units? OR Do they also calculate it towards my UC transferable GPA?</p>
<p>Because my college(CCSF) does not indicates in the course catalog that this course can be transfered so, I ignored it last semester.</p>
<p>Some ESL courses do contribute to the minimum 60 units requirements. Also, on UC application, i don't think they ask for GPA. You only report the grades so they will do the calculation. You better get as many A as possible including ESL courses because you never know if it counts or not. </p>
<p>I did take ESL course and it counts toward 60 units requirements and I reported the grade as well. ~2 years ago!</p>
