<p>do you think that it matters much that i do not meet the 30-unit requirement the UCs insist upon to consider an applicant a community college student. in other words, how much more of a priority do other students have over me or is it fairly minimal, thanks. if you're wondering i have 31 units from another college and 29 from CC</p>
<p>why don't you get 3 units in the summer so you have more than the minimum requirement?</p>
<p>well i am a fall 2006 applicant and to my knowledge you have until the end of spring term to attain that one extra unit, my counselors didn't tell me about the 30-unit minimum nor did i do any careful research, i just want to know by how much i have lessened my chances at getting into berkeley or ucla if for instance i have the gpa to compete with the students but the not necessary the units. i meet the other requirements: 2 terms at cc, 60 units, cc being where i am transferring from, well thanks for your time</p>
