Is it possible to transfer, to let's say, UC Berkeley (Haas) after a student's first year? And, from another UC....?

You can only transfer to a UC school after 2 years are completed. This goes for Haas too. If you're coming from another UC school your chances are lower because community college students get transfer admissions priority. You should have a good reason for transferring and make sure that you complete the prereqs for Haas. It is a very competitive program.

thanks very much^

You do not have to wait 2 years before transferring to a UC from a junior college. I have many friends that have transferred in one year (to UCLA too) because they have so much AP credit.
