UC-UC RECIPROCITY

Hello all, I have completed my first year at UCI and about to start my second year. My current major is pharmaceutical sciences with a GPA of 3.63. Due to some circumstances, It would be best for me to attend a university closer to home.

So far, I've completed:
the whole single variable calculus sequence (more like exempted)
statistics
intro chem
intro bio
majority of GEs
lower division writing

I plan on taking
genetics
biochemistry
molecular biology
physics w/lab
organic chemistry w/lab

I'm aiming for:
UC Davis: Pharmaceutical Chemistry
UC Berkeley:Molecular and Cell biology
UC Santa Cruz: Biochemistry

So my questions are:
1) Would not fulfilling foreign language requirement really affect my admissions?
2) I have gotten a 4 on AP chemistry which exempted me from the introductory chemistry course chem 1a, however, that ap score does not exempt from UC Berkeley's and UC Davis's version of chem 1a. Would UC reciprocity cover me for that? Or would I have to take those courses again and affect my overall admission when admission officers look at my application.
3) I got a 4 on the Calculus BC exam and was exempted from math 2a. Same question as number 2.
4) Would taking GEs to satsify general ed requirments be more practical than taking physics and boost my chances of admission?

bump

bump

You really need to speak to UCD, UCB, UCSC admission counselors. UC to UC transfer is not easy.

UCB Molecular and Cell Biology is a cutthroat. It could burn you.
It seems you do well where you are at. You don’t know what will happen at a different college. I think you should stay at UCI.
