Im transferring from a UC to another UC this year and I have some questions regarding the application and im looking for some help from a couselor. Does anyone know who I should be talking to about transfers? Ive tried talking to my residence area advisor and they said that they dont really deal with transfers and told me to talk to the admissions office of the school im trying to transfer to. The questions i have are mainly just filling out some parts, making sure I didnt do anything incorrectly and stuff like that.

I work with a lot of intercampus transfers, but I charge for my services. If you have really simple questions and don’t mind waiting, you can PM me the questions and I’ll answer when I have time.

Write down all your questions before hand and then just call up the admissions office to the UC you are applying to. If for some reason that is too difficult for you, then just go to your own UC’s admissions office and ask them for help.

I don’t know how far away you are from the campus you want to transfer to, but the admissions people on the campuses are super helpful and eager to help, for free I might add. I walked right into the admissions office on campus, made an appointment and was there the next day meeting with a councilor. She gave me a ton of information, was really friendly and helpful, and when I’ve had questions while filling out the application, I have emailed her and she has responded super quickly and with exactly the right help I need! I recommend just calling the admissions office to ask for help, or, if you can actually going on to campus to meet with someone. Don’t waste your money on an advisor when you can get accurate help from the school for free.

Thanks everyone, i talked to my schools advisors, but they said they don’t deal with any transfer related stuff. Since my questions didn’t have to do with any schools, pretty much only with the generic application stuff, i just emailed the uc application help instead.

However, i do have another question that has to do with a school directly, so ill be trying to call into their admissions office sometime soon.
