UCAS Letter of Reference?

For the UCAS letter of reference, is it okay to have a guidance counselor write it? I don't really know if she would fall into any of the categories listed for acceptable letter writers ("principal, head teacher, teacher or tutor"), but it seems like as long as my relationship with the writer is strictly professional, it should be okay.

Any opinions/solidly founded facts?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes - that’s fine. Our college counselor has done my child’s. Our school has had applicants using the UCAS for quite some time and it is clearly fine. (We don’t have a lot of kids using the UCAS, but often 1 to 3 kids do.)
