So I have a weighted GPA of a 3.8, an unweighted of a 3.67, and a UC GPA of a 4.09. I really want to get into either Berkeley’s sociology or woman’s studies programs. I also have a SAT score of a 1180… Can I get into berkeley with all these or are my grades not enough? I will also be taking 3 hard AP’s this upcoming school year, and have overall taken 5 AP’s and 2 honors courses in high school.
Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19: UCB: 14%
Average UC GPA for UCB was 4.2 and SAT 1385.
UCB is a High Reach.

What Gumbymom said, basically. I would definitely put a lot of focus into the essays and retaking the SAT if possible. Good luck
how is ur UC GPA much higher than ur weighted???/
I have taken AP and honors courses so it adds a bump and ive gotten 2 B’s and the rest A’s for sophmore-junior year
Since the UCs don’t look at freshman year, it’s also possible if some one screws up freshman year, and then does much better after that.
