<p>Does anybody know if History is an impacted major at Berkeley and UCLA? </p>
<p>If so, is it a safe bet to say that applying under a less appealing major would greater my chance of admissions or does UC not care of your intended major?</p>
<p>if you select a major in the college of letters and sciences, then your major is not a factor when it comes to admissions. history is in the college of letters of sciences. UC admissions chances are only affected by specialized majors, such as music, theatre, engineering, etc.</p>
