UCB chance . . . becoming terrified and nervous :/

I made the decision to apply to only one school because I am not able/willing to move. My kids go to school here and my husband works here and all that good stuff. I suppose I could swing commuting to Davis but I’m still going to have to work (at least part time) over the next fews years so school close to my home and job was a must.
As far as TAP - I was invited at my CC by a Cal rep. I hadn’t even heard of it before that. They base the invitation criteria on GPA mostly but I think that age has something to with it too? I know she asked my age before she extended the invitation. Correct me if I’m wrong . . .

Oh! Sorry- I jumped the gun.

But yeah, you have an excellent shot.

^^^^ No worries . . . I would probably think the same thing myself . . . ;)

FWIW I also intend to double with American Studies and minor in Forestry, but as a transfer you can only officially apply to one major. . . yes I realize those are also useless.

Don’t let the useless/useful major talk get to you, undergrad is about developing your skills in a field you find interesting.

I did the same thing! First I just applied at Berkeley but then I started to get nervous after so I decided to apply at a couple more. I only want to go to berkeley though. But I think you have a really good shot at getting in, I’d say it’s a match.
Good luck!

@random monkey. It’s invite only and you get in if you are the 1st in your immediate family to go to college/very low income.
