<p>Okay so I will complete all of my IGETC by the Spring. I have been apart of TAP for Berkeley and I work 20-35 ever since I started attending my community college. I have a overall GPA of 3.87. I am an American Studies major. My personal statement is okay.

<p>Cal TAP is pretty much the closest thing you can have for a guarantee for Berkeley (although getting into the program is nearly impossible).</p>

<p>yeah but there are so many requirements like being URM, low income, disadvantaged, GPA in the 98 percentile (or something like that), rigorous course load, application, interview…</p>
<p>most ppl don’t get into it but TAP students have a 90% acceptance rate </p>
<p>Too bad that funding has run out and they’re thinking about discontinuing the program…</p>
