They don’t allow letters unless requested. They only request LoR’s during the regular admissions cycle.
My apologies. Not a letter of recommendation from a teacher or employer. A letter written by yourself to there appeal committee.
@avelinocortinaiv hey im committed to uc davis, and berkeley is also my #1. We’re in this together
Hahaha good luck man!
You too!
They explicitly asked not to submit anything other than the essay.
i know a lot of people giving up UCB spots for UCLA spots since UCLA waitlists came out! hopefully this works in the favors of those who truly want to go to berkeley
I sure hope so. I was actually told to appeal by my regional UCB admissions counselor so fingers crossed because my sister goes to berkeley too
good luck
kinda in the same situation. my bro goes there.
do you think that it’ll be difficult for intl students to get off the waitlist or be accepted after appeal? i think so because uni’s will think that intl students will not accept the offer considering the covid 19 cases in us. Anyways hope for the best.
Anyone know when the appeals are coming out?
@pdiddy415 June 1st. But, as per previous statistics, if it comes out near the end of May or June 1st, it usually means the appeal was denied.
This is most likely not the case this year. No one has received their appeal decisions as of yet.
Bro the end of May is six days away, I don’t think I got in lol
They release appeal decisions after the final waitlist wave. They should let everyone know sometime this week.
Or they could just deny all appeals on June 1st. It’s very hard to tell this year because they’ve acted completely different to previous years. We just can’t bank on this appeal I guess.
I agree. Very strange year.
3 more days ?
did anyone get anything? no one on the waitlist forum got anything yet for the 3rd wave
